We are seeking an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to maintain and grow our strong relationships with existing clients. Based in Knoxfield, VIC and reporting to the State Manager, this is a challenging, autonomous, and rewarding role. You’ll be responsible for providing tailored solutions that help customers identify and track their products throughout their supply chain. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Manage territory account plans to drive growth with existing Key customers.
  • Conduct regular customer calls and site visits to maintain and strengthen existing contact relationships, identify, prospect and built relationships with new key contacts within different departments of the account, gather knowledge and develop new opportunities, and learn about the account.
  • Present quarterly reviews on trading trends as well as required reporting.
  • Develop an Account Management Plan for each account, including key personnel, total value of label consumables, thermal printing, scanning and mobile computing hardware percentage of business we currently have, areas for growth and strategies for growth.
  • Building and managing relationships with key personnel in Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Operations and Maintenance.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to meet expectations and deliver outcomes.
  • Actively pursue leads and prospects, qualifying their sales potential.
  • Manage contract creation and ensure terms and conditions are fulfilled throughout.

About you:

  • Relevant experience in a sales role within an industrial environment. Experience in labelling and or IT based products highly regarded.
  • Experience with product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Strong communication, administration, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services ie customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Proven experience in working with client database systems such as Microsoft CRM, Business Central (BC).
  • Competent in simplifying and analysing data as well as creating reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Microsoft PowerPoint.
