We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure production orders are estimated, processed, planned, and completed accurately and on time. Reporting to the National Manufacturing Manager, this role will also liaise with all Production departments and Procurement on material requirement, stock requests and project work as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and information to sales, pressroom, and pre-press teams as required.
  • Build a solid working knowledge of label manufacturing, adhesives, and ink types to cost and review jobs accurately.
  • Provide quotations for incoming orders utilising best practice label costing configurations to ensure break-even for manufacturing promptly.
  • Ensure work meets high-quality standards, delivered on time within specified parameters.
  • Consult with the Printers & Production Team regarding actual run times, speeds, and material usage.
  • Coordinate the completion of production output and consumption journals.
  • Monitor warehouse and temporary storage items' stocks and raised new production requests when required.
  • Assist with maintaining the relevant BC data, including purchased item prices, new warehouse item data, and item standard cost maintenance.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical reasoning ability
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and maintain effective relationships with various people
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage activities through to completion                          
  • Knowledge of label converting, production principles, and processes, including quotation and print configuration not essential, but high regarded
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
