We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to drive new business opportunities (30% new business and 70% existing valued clients with potential for growth). Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this will be a challenging, autonomous, and rewarding role, providing solutions to help customers identify and track their products throughout their supply chain.

 

Key responsibilities: 

 

  • End-user and corporate sales
  • Build business within existing accounts
  • Hunt for new customers
  • Walk production / operation lines, identifying opportunities
  • Utilise Product Experts
  • Willingness to learn & develop product knowledge.
  • Facilitate & communicate between departments for smooth transition of orders / practices
  • Alliance development
  • Contribution to marketing and business strategy

 

 

About you:

 

  • Previous experience in business development or sales representative roles.
  • Recognise business opportunities and actively seek out new business and close sales
  • Take ownership of actions; enjoys dealing with people and providing excellent customer service.
  • Willing to think outside the box to offer customers products and solutions which add value to their business.
  • Establishes open and trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Has the ability to write and communicate concisely and persuasively.
  • Experience and knowledge using a CRM platform (experience with Microsoft CRM desirable)
  • Medium to High skills in MS Suite of products
  • 2+ years in a role involved in Face-to-Face customer meetings.
  • Knowledge of the labelling and VIP (Thermal Printing, Scanning and Mobile Computing), industry, major competitors, and insignia customers (is an advantage but not a prerequisite)
