About the role:
This is a full-time opportunity in Melbourne, reporting to the National Sales Manager – Labels and VIP (Thermal Printing, Scanning and Mobile Computing). As the BDM / Account Manager, you will drive new business opportunities (30% new business and 70% existing valued clients with potential for growth). This will involve many aspects of business development, such as:
- End-user and corporate sales
- Build business within existing accounts.
- Hunt for new customers
- Walk production / operation lines, identifying opportunities.
- Utilise Product Experts
- Willingness to learn & develop product knowledge.
- Facilitate & communicate between departments for smooth transition of orders / practises.
- Alliance development
- Contribution to marketing and business strategy

The position's remuneration will be commensurate with your experience and include a base salary, on-target and stretch commission, and car allowance (all working tools included).
About you:

- Has the ability to write and communicate concisely and persuasively.

- Has experience and knowledge using a CRM platform (experience with Microsoft CRM desirable)
- Understand the importance of managing a healthy Pipeline.
- Medium to High skills in MS Suite of products
- Previous experience in business development or sales representative roles.
- 2+ years in a role involved in Face-to-Face customer meetings.
- Previous experience in a new business sales role (is an advantage but not a pre-requisite)
- Car Licence
- Own a car.
- Knowledge of the labelling and VIP (Thermal Printing, Scanning and Mobile Computing). industry, major competitors, and insignia customers (is an advantage but not a prerequisite)
