Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for performing a diverse range of tasks in our day-to-day accounting functions, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and Finance streams. 
• Supporting Finance transactional team with day-to-day operational and working capital improvements.  
• Lead and monitor accounting standard, reporting, financial systems, and processes. 
• Business partnering with sales and operations. 
• Pro-actively drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and related finance systems. 
• Month-end accounting including journals and reconciliations.  
• Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts. 
• Ensuring the business is provided with high quality, accurate and timely reporting to drive results. 
• Ensure all transactional processes comply with accounting standards and accounting policies.

About you

• CPA/CA qualifications and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
• Costing experience in the manufacturing industry with a sound understanding of overhead management (desirable).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards 
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (financial modelling and analysis)
• Microsoft Business Central and Jet reporting experience (desirable)
• Strong people skills and communication skills (both written and verbal) 
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
