What Are We Looking For?

We seek an exceptional candidate to coordinate the effective purchasing and delivery of finished goods into the business. In addition, this position provides support in the cost-effective purchasing of hardware, consumables, spare parts, and software and maintains inventory levels of stocked items. This position is crucial in ensuring inventory is available to meet our customers' delivery and quality requirements.

 

This position is Full-time, and you will report to our supportive Supply Chain Team Leader, who will work closely with you to ensure you can provide the best service. The role is in our Corporate Head Office in the Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane, with free on-site car parking available.

 

This position will be responsible for (but not limited to): 

  • Order all Hardware, Consumables, Spare Parts, and Software from local and overseas suppliers, ensuring cost-effective purchases and availability when required.
  • Proactively manage all purchase orders according to their required ETA dates to ensure they arrive on time.
  • Conduct analysis and review of exceptions before the Planning Meeting
  • Analyse inventory trends and adjust forecasting as required.
  • Ensure correct items and quantities of stock are kept in inventory.

 

What makes you the right person?

You are the right person if you have:

  • Recently completed tertiary studies in a similar field (desirable)
  • Demonstrated a high standard of attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage activities through to completion.                              
  • Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
