Project Implementation Engineer

We seek a switched-on Project Installation Engineer to install coding equipment in manufacturing environments and ensure the highest completion standards.

 

About the role

The role reports directly to the National Project Manager.

 

As a PIM, you will be responsible for:

  • working with the sales team to scope projects,
  • assisting customers with software-related fault finding, and
  • installing equipment of all scales/ sizes.
  • Accounting for every detail,
  • Meticulous in their planning
  • Paying great attention to detail.
  • They will also think outside the box to solve technical issues,

 

This is an autonomous role with your territory, but whilst you’ll frequently visit customers on the road, there will also be occasional interstate travel. However, we are a company that believes we are stronger together. Therefore, you will work closely with the sales team, installation team, automation engineers, and project coordinators and feel very much at the heart of everything happening.

 

About you

 

This is an excellent opportunity for many candidates looking for a fresh challenge, as the ideal candidate could come from various backgrounds.

  • Have an electrical or mechanical trade qualification.
  • A High technical aptitude for electro/mechanical systems and software.
  • Well-developed technical skill set, with some exposure to PLC or system integration
  • The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be experienced in hardware installation and commissioning.
