With multiple locations nationwide, insignia is widely recognised as experts in identification and traceability, and work with world-leading brands in thermal printing, barcoding, data capture, marking & coding.  

We are now seeking a Project Implementation Engineer to deliver identification and traceability coding equipment in manufacturing environments and ensure the highest of completion standards.

About the role

Reporting to the National Project Manager, you will be responsible scoping and delivering insignia project solutions and ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Working in collaboration with the sales team, automation engineers and project coordinators you will ensure seamless project executions and the maintenance of all equipment servicing requirements. You will receive in-house training on our products and equipment to ensure you are full equipped to support our customers on-site.

As a Project Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Working with the sales team to scope projects.
• Assist with scheduling and planning to coordinate installation.
• Hands-on equipment preparation and pre-installation. 
• Installing equipment of all scales/ sizes.
• Site systems commissioning & testing. 
• Problem solving with customers on software-related faults.
• Monitor project execution and training.
• Ongoing training of production knowledge.

About you

• The ideal candidate will have an electrical or mechanical trade qualification.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or service-based industry.
• A high technical aptitude for electro/mechanical systems and software.
• Well-developed technical skill set, with some exposure to PLC or system integration.
• Strong knowledge to solve complex technical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience in multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.
