An entry-level opportunity is currently available for a Customer Support Technician to join our insignia Customer Experience department. This is an excellent career move for someone with a passion for technology, customer service, and problem solving.

About the role:

As an integral part of our busy Customer Technical Support team, your main duties will involve managing our 1800 service help-desk line, ensuring that our customers receive superior service. To help maintain insignia’s outstanding customer relationships you will:

  • Provide over the phone technical advice for a broad range of our equipment and products
  • Manage Service Order creation
  • Learn to undertake basic hardware repair in the workshop

  • A positive attitude and willingness to work across office and workshop environments
  • Good computer literacy with MS Office programs, CRM experience highly regarded
  • Good phone manner and understanding of customer service principles
  • Mechanical or other technical aptitude or interest
 
This role offers excellent on-the-job training, and an opportunity to work with a dedicated and helpful team. Note, from time to time this role may require some manual handling work within our workshop.
