About the role:
An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator has become available to join our marketing team based at Wakerley. This is a generalist role weighted towards content writing/development. So you will have the best of both worlds - variety through exposure to a diverse range of marketing activities, such as PR, advertising, campaign development and execution, input into brand strategy, designing marketing collateral and event management. As well as, the opportunity to specialise in content, such as writing case studies in collaboration with our customers and authoring thought leadership pieces for our websites and social media platforms. About you:
You will have approximately 2-3 years experience in marketing roles and possess a passion for writing. In addition you will be creative, diverse in thought, and a team player willing to engage in all aspects of marketing. To be successful in the role you will also have:
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels including internal and external suppliers and customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate skills with client database systems, CMS (eg Magento) and Microsoft Office
- Possess basic skills with Adobe Photoshop
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities and diverse workload to meet deadlines and manage activities through to completion.
- Tertiary qualifications such as Media, Journalism, PR, Marketing and Creative Industries will be well regarded
